This exceptional dry Riesling hails from the steep slate slopes of the renowned Bacharacher Hahn vineyard, just downstream from the town of Bacharach, where the Rhine bends dramatically around ancient rock formations.
The 2021 vintage was shaped by a cool spring, which slowed vine development and allowed the grapes to mature with refined structure and clarity. As a result, this wine expresses a striking mineral character, typical of its slate-rich soil. Notes of stone, density, and depth are seamlessly balanced with vibrant tropical fruit aromas, a hallmark of this distinctive terroir.
